My Personal Health Journey & Why It Drives My Mission

My business journey has always been guided by purpose - but my personal journey is what changed everything.

I’ve learned what it means to fight for health, to question the system, to advocate for my family, and to lead with softness as well as strength.

I share it not for sympathy, but to empower. If even one part of my experience helps you or someone you love - then it’s worth it.

Why Health Became My Mission

I’m on a mission to be the healthiest version of myself before I enter my 50s - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Wellbeing has always been a deep passion of mine. I’m a Reiki Master, psychology graduate, and NLP practitioner, and I’ve practiced meditation, breathwork, and holistic healing for years. But things shifted dramatically in 2017 when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis - followed not long after by Lyme disease. These back-to-back diagnoses challenged everything I thought I knew about my body and my health.

Quietly, I stepped into the most radical chapter of my life - one guided by agency, education, and experimentation. With the support of brilliant medical professionals, I’ve remained medication-free. I’m incredibly grateful that every brain scan since has been clear.

I’ve learned to biohack my health, understand my triggers, manage my energy, and deeply listen to my body. I’m also navigating the very real challenges of peri-menopause - and discovering what helps (and what doesn’t) along the way.

I’m still learning. I always will be. I don’t have all the answers - but I’m committed to sharing what works, what doesn’t, and what’s possible when we take our health into our own hands.

Motherhood & Meaning

Just as I found my rhythm, life threw something else at us.

My eldest son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 10 - and then Leukaemia at 13. He’s doing well, through the ups and downs he continues to inspire me every day with his strength and grace. He’s currently in the maintenance phase of treatment, which finishes at the end of this year - when we begin the next path of building him back up to full strength and power. We’re still learning as we go.

Through it all, I’ve learned to accept help, speak openly, and prioritise wellbeing above everything.

My younger son — wise beyond his years — has been a quiet rock for all of us.

My goal? To be strong and present for them, and to use what we’ve learned as a blueprint for thriving, not just surviving.

Philosophy & Practices

Healthspan > Lifespan
I believe in living long — and living well. Prevention, not panic. Energy, not exhaustion.

Radical Responsibility
I believe in empowering people with tools and knowledge — to ask better questions, try new approaches, and advocate for themselves.

Science meets soul
I’m as comfortable talking about data and diagnostics as I am about intuition and energy.

The next 10 years
We’re on the edge of transformation. From AI to diagnostics to regenerative medicine — I believe we’re heading into a new era of health, and I plan to help shape it.

“I’m not here to preach - I’m here to share. If my story helps you ask better questions, trust your instincts, or take one more step toward your own version of health - that’s enough.”
